Sewage Disposal
The Forsyth County Environmental Health Land Use Section is responsible for the issuance of on-site sewage management system permits (septic tanks) and final inspection of systems. If you plan to build or remodel a home or if you want to put a building or pool on your property that is served by a septic system you will have to get approval from the environmental health department before you can obtain a building permit. The following forms are available for download, you can email us the completed application and any required documents and call in a credit payment if needed.
Please note that it may take twenty business days or more to process an application or review.
